Exelon's 1,098-MW Clinton unit in Clinton, Illinois, is coasting toward a refueling outage, company spokesman Brett Nauman said Friday.

The unit was operating at 93% capacity Friday after operating at 94% capacity Thursday, according to US Nuclear Regulatory Commission daily reactor status reports.

When asked when the outage was expected to begin, Nauman said: "For competitive reasons we don't disclose that."
